Event Description

WB104: Helping Consumers Connect the Dots Between Credit Behavior & Financial Goals

Have you ever wondered the following:
How are credit scores and financial goals connected?
What is the effect of credit behavior on financial goals?
Is there a way to clearly convey this message to consumers?

Credit is more than a score; it is closely associated with one’s quality of life. Credit scores impact one’s quality of employment, location of housing, and whether one can obtain favorable terms on purchases. Credit scores have the ability to influence life’s most important decisions. This webinar will facilitate a discussion on how you can help consumers see the big picture and mobilize their credit behavior to accomplish their financial goals.

During the webinar, participants will learn about the impact of credit scores, strategies which help clearly convey the relationship between credit behavior and financial goals, and how to inform and empower consumers in a way that builds their confidence to accomplish these goals. Participants will also learn how to successfully implement these strategies in order to expand program services or integrate them into existing housing counseling programs.
