This is the final part to a four part series. Housing Counselors are on the frontline in helping ensure access to housing, which represents safety and stability for many families. When crises such as natural disasters hits, Housing Counselors often face clients who are overwhelmed and distressed while also tackling their own personal impact from these crises.
This webinar will cover the complexities that housing counselors face when assisting clients who are experiencing a crisis. Housing Counselors will understand signs of traumatic stress for their clients, themselves and fellow Housing Counselors. Housing Counselors will also learn practical steps to regaining emotional stability during a crisis and will learn resources that are available.
